MILANO AIR CARGO COMMUNITY SHOWCASES INNOVATION AND SPECIALIZED LOGISTICS AT AIR CARGO CHINA 2026
Milano Malpensa, June 25, 2026 – One year after the launch of the Milano Air Cargo Community, first introduced in 2025 in Munich during Air Cargo Europe, the Milano Malpensa cargo ecosystem showcased its strengths to the Asian market at Air Cargo China 2026, taking place from June 24 to 26 in Shanghai, one of the leading international events dedicated to air freight transportation and global logistics.
Participation in the exhibition provided an important opportunity to promote the strategic role of Milano Malpensa Cargo (MXP) as Italy’s leading gateway for international air cargo traffic and to highlight the ecosystem of companies operating within the Milan airport cargo community.
A key moment of the event was the session entitled “Milano Air Cargo Community: A Focus on Malpensa Cargo”, held today, during which the partners of the Milan Air Cargo Community presented the excellence of the Malpensa cargo system, showcasing services, expertise and innovative projects that contribute to strengthening the airport’s competitiveness in global markets.
The session opened with SEA Milan Airports, which provided an overview of Milano Malpensa’s role within the international logistics landscape, highlighting its strategic location, dedicated cargo infrastructure, intercontinental connectivity and growth opportunities for airlines, freight forwarders and logistics operators. The presentation also offered an opportunity to introduce the Milano Air Cargo Community to the Chinese market—a collaborative model bringing together airports, handling companies, logistics operators, technology providers and industry specialists with the shared objective of promoting efficiency, innovation and sustainable growth.
During the event, several best-in-class solutions that make Milano Malpensa a leading international cargo hub were presented.
